I decided to start this blog to document my fitness journey. I started January 1, 2014, by just wanting to loose some additional pounds I had gained (20 pounds to be exact). I have always been an on and off exerciser, but this time was different. I actually need to loose weight and knew that I could only do that by changing what I put into my body. I made the decision I wanted to feel good in my skin again and wanted to put things in my body that would help it and not hurt it. Little did I know that 3.5 years later this journey has become a lifestyle that I am passionate about. I truly believe in the phrase “Food is Medicine.” I share my journey and successes with anyone who will listen. I get excited to share my way of life with others, which includes eating clean and exercising hard. Through this process I have decided to love me and do things for myself. I made a commitment that I will always be MY best and have stuck to it. Here’s to the journey and sharing my approach to fitness and health. Welcome to my blog and enjoy the ride.
